More Pictures About Knitting!

Dad got another sweater this year for his birthday. It is a modified version of the Cambridge Jacket by Ann Budd, done in Cascade 220. (Links are to Ravelry pages.) He wanted a quarter zip neck and pockets in the front. No problem! I am so glad it fits as well as it does. He has worn it many times already.
I just cast off my Clothilde shawl the other day, and am going to block it this afternoon. The blue is some handspun, and the white is Cascade 220. I really loved this pattern. Simple but beautiful! I will defiantly knit this one again.
My Olympic Knitting project this time is an argyle sweater vest for Evan. He wanted something he could wear for spring and summer, and he loves argyle! I hope I am up for the challenge!

Warning: Shameless self promotion below!

I am selling my Ellensburg Shawl pattern on Ravelry for $5 each. I need to sell 3 more this month to meet my goal! If you like shawls, and want a very easy lace knit pattern, try this one!

Good News

Back again for a post, complete with photos taken with a borrowed camera. It seems my camera was damaged beyond repair during our move, or sometime shortly thereafter. It will not take pictures, nor will it load the pictures I have taken onto my computer. So the lack of photos has prevented me from posting for quite some time. I really feel that photos are, for me, an integral part of this blog, and I just hate posting without them! So I borrowed my mother-in-laws digital camera to put up these shots of what I've been up to.

(In related news: I do believe I will be receiving a new digital camera for Christmas!)

First, I am knitting another sweater for Dad. It is a handsome oatmeal color from Cascade 220. I have finished the two sleeves and just started the back. It is the Cambridge Jacket from Interweave Knits, with modifications. More info. to come (and hopefully more/better pictures!)
I am also knitting socks for Evan with Cascade as well. I picked up some sock reinforcement thread to put in the heels and toes.
Some of the best news recently: Evan got a promotion at work! He has a new position in a different area with better pay and full benefits! He brought me these lilies the day he got the promotion.
